I’ve been a portrait photographer for over a decade, with a deep-rooted passion for landscape photography going back even further. I love being able to capture moments that can cause you to relive the moment when looking at my photos.
I aim for a documentary style with a hint of editorial for those classic poses, as well as true-to-color editing for a timeless look and a hint of black and white, I love the look of a dynamic gallery that tells a story.

Hi, I'm Sarah Fern! Born and raised on Long Island, I’ve spent the last eight years in New England, where I’ve fallen in love with the natural beauty that surrounds us. I'm a proud pet mom to three cats and two dogs, who are like my kids. Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been perfecting my craft since high school.
For me, photography is about capturing the genuine moments that happen in life, and nature provides the perfect backdrop. I specialize in nature-based portraits and wedding photography, where I document real moments that hold meaning, whether in a forest, by the ocean, or among the hills. There’s something incredibly rewarding about freezing a raw, authentic moment surrounded by the natural world that tells your unique story.
